  • From October 17, 2026, visitors with official reseller tickets must personally book a free, time-stamped "Contremarque Revendeur officiel" on the Musée d'Orsay website. The reseller cannot make this reservation on your behalf.

  • You must present both your Musée d'Orsay entrance ticket and your free, time-stamped "Contremarque Revendeur officiel" at the museum entrance. Your entrance ticket alone is not sufficient for admission.
  • Your Orsay Museum ticket is valid for the selected date but has no fixed entry time. You must visit at the time shown on your free, time-stamped “Contremarque Revendeur officiel” reservation.
  • You can scan your voucher at the Parvis Entrance until February 2027, then at the Quai Entrance from March 2027 onwards. Entrance arrangements may change during museum works. Please follow any updated access instructions communicated before your visit.
  • There is no meeting point. Visit each attraction independently using the addresses in your booking confirmation.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the booking is confirmed.
  • The museum is open Tuesday–Sunday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, with last admission at 5:00 PM. On Thursdays, it remains open until 9:45 PM, with last admission at 9:00 PM.
  • The museum is closed on Mondays, May 1 and December 25.
  • Visitors under 18 and eligible visitors aged 18–25 from the EU/EEA or with qualifying long-term residence may enter free with valid proof.
  • Admission is free for all visitors on the first Sunday of each month, with advance reservation required.
  • Wheelchairs, folding chairs and walking sticks are available at the museum upon presentation of an ID.
  • Access to temporary exhibitions is subject to availability. Some artworks or galleries may be temporarily unavailable.
  • Your ticket does not include priority access. Security checks are mandatory, and waiting times may be longer during busy periods.
  • Public transport: Metro Line 12 (Solférino), RER C (Musée d'Orsay), or buses 63, 68, 69, 73, 83, 84, 87 and 94.
